A new approach to preventive medicine in hospitals of the future

In a recent presentation, Dr Robert Keith Wallace presented new plans for the creation of Vedic hospitals. He reported that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has put a great emphasis on creating Vedic hospitals and schools in countries around the world, and this will be a very powerful programme to create the ideal level of invincibility for these nations through education and health.
'Never again are we to think of our physiology as some parts held together,' said Dr Robert Keith Wallace, 'and that is the way you learn about it in medical school. But now we understand that the individual is cosmic, we have the understanding that each individual is ''walking Veda''. '
'This knowledge, under Maharishi's [guidance] ... is destined to have a huge impact on the health care systems of every nation.... We'd like our centres to be such that we can guarantee for each individual that they have ideal health for the next few years.'
Dr Robert Keith Wallace, the first scientist of the Age of Enlightenment, recently chaired a discussion on this subject, and asked Dr Benjamin Stuttgen, a top heart surgeon from Germany, to describe how these hospitals of the future will bring this wave of health to the world.
'Dr Stuttgen has worked in the area of heart surgery, perhaps the most invasive procedure that we have today.... But now we are going to transform that into a hospital that enlivens the heart on all levels, and prevents the need to even use this equipment to do these invasive procedures.'
Dr Benjamin Stuttgen said, 'The areas of treatment in Ayur-Veda including anti-ageing are very important ... yet there is still the situation of acute medicine, where there is a severe problemme and you have to react quickly.
'And now it is the intention to bring all this together into a unity. Because, in fact, the patient wants everything in one place, and this is a great opportunity to do this. This is the first time you have the chance to come with a heart attack, directly to the hospital and get help there, and you feel very safe knowing that, as soon as possible, all is done with natural medicine which supports you and brings you up very fast.
'And this is a very joyful model that we now have all possibilities in one place.... We can really support the patient, and from that day on he is able to get well.... He [now] has ... the chance to go a point of competence where all is done for him.
'Another very important aspect is that the functionality of the hospital is very important on one side—the operation unit, the modern diagnositics—have to work very precisely, but on the other hand there is a great pressure now from Maharishi himself to bring an atmosphere in the hospital where the patient feels at home.
'This is a very important situation for the patient, because to improve health, even in an acute situation, it is very influenced by the mind itself, and if the mind feels safety then the physiology improves much faster.
'So I think this is really the fulfilment in bringing Unity into this aspect of health. Unity in bringing everything together in one point.... I hope very soon this hospital will open for the people and give them a new dimension of improvement in health.'
