Newkerala.com, an Indian website, reported recently that adolescents with high blood pressure who practise the Transcendental Meditation Programme face a lower risk of heart attack. The new study shows that the meditation technique relaxes blood vessels in the adolescent practitioners, thus reducing risk of cardiovascular disease in later life. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of health.

The article related details of the study at the Medical College of Georgia, wherein adolescents experienced a 21 per cent increase in the ability of their blood vessels to dilate compared to a 4 per cent decrease experienced by their non-meditating peers.

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based— programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
