Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam honours Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's gifts of Total Knowledge to the world - 12 January 2011

During the 12 January celebrations of the Global Country of World Peace, inaugurating 2011 as Maharishi's Fourth Year of Invincibility – Global Raam Raj,* Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam addressed the assembly of Global Country leaders in MERU, Holland, connected via videoconference with the Global Capital of World Peace in the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India.

Maharaja, honoured by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as First Ruler of the Global Country, expressed his great esteem and deep appreciation for the beautiful address honouring Maharishi by Swami Devanand Saraswati Maharaj, Bhagwan Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math, who had just spoken at the Brahmasthan of India.

Maharaja upheld the Shankaracharya's theme of honouring Maharishi's lifelong achievements in bringing the knowledge and technologies for awakening the total Vedic wisdom of Natural Law to individuals and nations throughout the world.

Maharishi left the field of pure silence, Maharaja said, where the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math now resides and administers, 'to go out to the world with one feeling, that bliss is the nature of life. Life is unbounded pure Being—coming from bliss, moving in bliss, merging into bliss, emerging from bliss. And that knowledge he has spread and has touched us all; and we are filled with that pure Being, that we have experienced the unbounded wholeness of Brahm, Totality within ourselves, and we see it growing in all societies in every country in the world.

'In celebrating that bliss today,' Maharaja said, 'we could not imagine that it could be made bigger and taken to its supreme level', through the presence of the great Shankaracharya, the 'supreme custodian of the Vedic tradition' of knowledge. The speech of the Shankaracharya enlivened total Natural Law through his profound, melodious recitation of the sounds of the Veda, Maharaja said—everyone felt 'transported back in time to the eternity of time'—and he expressed appreciation for the Shankaracharya's blessings and guidance 'for the whole world to rise to its true nature of bliss consciousness.

'Indeed, Maharishi has brought this message to all nations, to all individuals, to all belief systems, to all races,' Maharaja said. Maharishi has shown that this 'pure knowledge, which is vibrant and lively in the remote Himalayas, in the pure context of pure Being, where . . . the Shankaracharya resides and administers—that purity of the experience that one can feel there, that supreme level of bliss that we have experienced, enlivened today—it is a seed within every individual'.

That seed is only waiting to be enlivened and awakened for all its fruits, Maharaja said, 'as it grows to become a whole tree of enlightenment and pure Being, and gives all the fruits of bliss, prosperity, goodness, intelligence, and creativity; and removal of suffering, and elimination of crime and conflicts between nations.

'From the remote Himalayas to the hearts of people in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York; in Europe, Africa, Asia, and everywhere—that oneness of life, that eternal, universal reality of pure Being, unbounded, immortal, infinite, is there in everyone. Every individual born on earth has that gift of Natural Law. All he needs is to close the eyes and practise Transcendental Meditation, and discover himself . . . to be unbounded.

'Whatever the colour of the skin, whatever the profession, whatever the belief system . . . no matter how he wakes up to go to his job, or [has] inspiration to make a painting or play an instrument, or take care of patients, or think of some complex theoretical physics—everyone in every walk of life, the taxi driver, the person waiting on the door of a hotel, everywhere—every individual, when awakened to his reality, finds that infinite bliss, that unbounded pure Being.

'Maharishi gave us all the technology to create that reality, not only on the individual level, but how to make it happen on the level of the entire society, nations, and the whole world.'
