Invincibility--Maharishi's response to the acute need of the time - Part I

In a recent News Conference, Dr John Hagelin, Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, explained Maharishi's offer of Invincibility at a time when no nation on earth is capable of defending itself.

'Invincibility is such an extraordinary necessity in today's world,' Dr. Hagelin said. 'The mightiest nations today are trembling constantly for fear of the next terrorist attack, and smaller nations live in fear of larger aggressive nations, particularly in these days of weapons of mass destruction and long range electronic missiles and other technologies, against which there is no conventional defence.'

In this deplorable state of affairs, said Dr Hagelin, where no nation is invincible—far from it; every nation is extremely vulnerable—there is no such thing as sovereignty or freedom, because there is no freedom or sovereignty if a nation is in fear of being destroyed or overrun by any other country.

'That's why, in response to what is clearly an acute need of the time, an historic need, because never before in the long history of the human race have there been nuclear weapons and chemical weapons that really threaten human kind with annihilation—in this state of insecurity in the extreme,' said Dr Hagelin, 'Maharishi has come out with the most extraordinary, most powerful, most practical and proven approach in the world to prevent all such threat of attack, and by preventing all threat of attack, literally raising any country, large or small, to a state of invincibility and lasting world peace.'
