On 29 October 2004 Age of Enlightenment News Service reported:
Addressing the Indian media, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said that the Raam temple in Ayodhya can't be built by organizing rallies. He said that this task can't be left to the political parties, which in the name of secularism are bent upon destroying religion in India.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of government.
Maharishi, the founder of the Raam Raj Peace Capitals, said that the cause of establishing a Raam temple in Ayodhya has been lost amid the ongoing power struggle in the country, which has no place for religion. He also warned the people of India that unless the present leadership is not changed, things may even get worse.
Maharishi said that the time has come to establish Ramm Raj in every village and city of India, irrespective of the government. It is for this very purpose that he had visualized worldwide Raam Raj Capitals, which will start functioning very soon, probably from this week. The chief objective purpose of these capitals is to provide totality of Natural Law, through an able administration, in every village and city of India.
Maharishi said 50,000 such capitals will be established in as many villages in India as possible. In these capitals the Vedic pandits will impart the teachings of consciousness by training people in the Vedic performances of Yagya, Anushthan, and other Vedic routines. These Veda Bhawans (the offices of Raam Raj Capitals) will be visited by everyone, including retired people, office goers, farmers, and students. Later the capitals will be organized in such a way that the elders impart Vedic Knowledge to the young, and the young will impart knowledge to the children.
These people will engage themselves in Yagyas and Anushthans, and Ayurveda and Jyotish experts will see that the health and other problems of the people are solved immediately at these centres. The focus will be on providing invincibility to the people through Vedic routine. They will be taught the Vedic concept of 'Heyam Dukham Anagatam' (prevention of problems before they arise).
Maharishi said that 'Heyam Dukham Anagatam' is the concept of Raam Raj which is eternal and independent of any system of governance and time. He said that India has seen the times of the destructive forces of Ravana and Kansa. The concept of Raam Raj existed then too. No individual, however mighty, could eliminate it, because they did not have the practical technology to unfold Atman and implement Raam Raj. 'Every atman is the capital of Raam Raj in India,' he said.
Turning his concern to the present system of governance in the country, Maharishi said that this system only makes people slaves. This is the borrowed concept of the West, which has fractured the collective consciousness of the nation to nourish a corrupt system. Today people of the country are seeking justice, freedom, and invincibility from the present administration, which is lifeless and is only capable of fooling people.
Maharishi said that the three areas of primary focus in the Raam Raj Capitals are health, education, and Vastu (building in accord with Natural Law): 'Health free from the poisonous modern medicines, education for total knowledge, and the Vastu for problem-free administration,' he said.
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
