On 3 September 2004 Age of Enlightenment News Service reported: Speaking to the Indian media on the Maharishi Channel, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said that only collective Yagya and Griha Shanti could provide real strength to Indian administration and make it problem and conflict free. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of government.

Maharishi said that as long as the government ignores the knowledge of Yagya and Griha Shanti, the administration would continue to attract only failures and problems. He said that the constituents of the country's administration are pulling in different directions and are only creating confusion. 'Everyone in India is following different set of guidelines and are failing', he said.

He said that the genesis of the feeble and fragmented administration lies in the democratic system and modern, or segmented, education. The Global Raam Raj, which will become a reality soon, will provide only Vedic Education to everyone, so that the totality in every sphere of life could be attained. Once this is realized, the conflicts, problems, and suffering will go away automatically. He added that this is the Raam Raj concept of Heyam Dukham Anagatam (avert suffering which has not yet come).

Maharishi cautioned that 'administration could not be disciplined through rallies'. He said that the present system of administration has devastated all values and cultures associated with the Veda and Vedic Literature. However, he hoped that the Indian population has the capacity to reverse this trend and re-establish those values in the society. Every home in India is the capital of Raam Raj and everyone's physiology is the temple of Veda, he said.

Maharishi suggested a two-pronged strategy to establish Global Raam Raj. At one level, the people will perform the collective Yagya and Griha Shanti, and at the global level Vedic techologies would fan out to 3000 prominent cities of the world and radiate positivity and coherence through the establishment of Peace Palaces. The Kshatriyas (warriors known for their administrative skills) would be trained in Vedic Administration and assist the local administration in making it nourishing for all.

Maharishi, the founder of the worldwide Transcendental Meditation (TM) Movement asked people to awaken creative impulses of consciousnes within themselves by invoking the Devis and Devatas. He reminded the people of the fact that as long as the legendary warrior of the Rajasthan province, Prithviraj Chauhan, had faith in Devis he conquered enemies, but the moment he relied on his military might, he had to face defeat.

Maharishi also drew the attention of the media to the various interpretations of the Vedic literature by different philosophers, which he described as incomplete. 'They may not be wrong, but they certainly have failed to touch the core spirit of Vedas. The interpretation of Veda could be Veda themselves,' he emphasized.

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
