On 18 June 2004 Age of Enlightenment News Service reported:
Addressing the Indian media in his weekly press conference, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has advised the Indian government to rebuild all parliament and administrative buildings according to Vastu. The government should also introduce Vedic Administration, Consciousness-Based Education, and Vedic Defence.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of government.
Maharishi said that government buildings in accordance with Vastu would streamline the country's administration, eliminate conflicts and problems in society, and ensure the safety and security of the people. He said that the country would remain weak as long as important decisions continued to be made in the existing offices.
Maharishi said that unless Vastu was introduced at every level of administration, the government is bound to face confusion at every step, and the country would remain a slave to western powers.
Linking this to the country's weak defence mechanism, Maharishi lamented that the government can't ensure safety for the people by approaching and pleading with the small countries for 'dialogues'.
He said that Vastu has 'invisible powers' with an overpowering impact of raising collective consciousness. Vastu has the power to prevent wars and weed out conflicts from society.
Maharishi said that the Consciousness-Based Education he has been propagating for so many decades is a requirement for realising the goal of establishing Ramraj. Through this education the students in schools and colleges should be taught the Vedic Mantras to invoke the devatas and other Vedic performances.
Griha Shanti, Vastu Shanti and Anushthan should also be a part of education. Maharishi, the founder of the worldwide Transcendental Meditation movement said that government should immediately do away with English education, as it puts stress on the neurosystem of the child. Yet, the strange paradox is that the so-called 'patriots' are propagating 'segmented or partial education'. 'They are only ensuring poison for posterity', he warned.
He announced that he is opening Rajkumar Colleges and Vedic Universities throughout the world to teach Consciousness-Based Education and Vedic Administration.
Maharishi once again reiterated that 'justice is fraud'. It only does injustice to life and varies from court to court. 'The pronouncement of one court does not stand in a parallel court', he said. In the same breath, he termed psychology as fraud, saying that all humanly conceived ideas and ideologies are unnatural and can not provide nourishment to life.
Responding to a question, Maharishi said that evolution and progress are guided by two powers. One is devastation and the other is construction. Both work side by side for perfection. While they work, dynamism is at its best.
