Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture course: Agriculture in terms of total Natural Law

A participant in the recent Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture course in MERU, Holland, commented that he gained more practical and fulfilling information in the first lesson than in five years of university study in agricultural engineering.

Dr Stijn Vandenbosch, National Director of Invincible Belgium for the Global Country of World Peace, graduated from university with a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering.

Dr Vandenbosch explained* that the first part of the new course gave an overview of new scientific approaches in modern organic agriculture that are more in accord with total Natural Law. Hearing of these techniques 'opened our minds to a whole new form of agriculture that is easy, enjoyable, very fruitful, very healthy, and very fulfilling', he said.

During the course, a beautiful videotaped address by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was played, in which he described agriculture as Total Knowledge, 'pure spirituality'. Maharishi explained agriculture in terms of the totality of Natural Law, saying that agriculture means 'agreeing with the culturing agency' of Natural Law.

Also played was a talk by Dr John Hagelin,** Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, in which he explained that through the use of Vedic sound in agriculture, 'anything can be created into anything.'

'The knowledge received during the course gave rise to the experience of higher states of consciousness,'*** Dr Vandenbosch said. Maharishi taught that knowledge is structured in consciousness; Dr Vandenbosch also experienced that consciousness is structured in knowledge. 'The Total Knowledge in this course was really transforming the participants,' he said.
