Continuing his presentation on 22 October Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication for the Global Country of World Peace and host of the programme, explained how Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture reflects Maharishi's Apaurusheya Bhashya, the uncreated commentary on Rk Veda.

Dr Swan explained that Lesson 12 of the new 16-lesson Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture course is about Maharishi's Apaurusheya Bhashya*, with the theme: 'The sequential elaboration of unified Totality to diversified Totality: Nirguna Brahm [non-qualified Brahm (Totality)] to Saguna Brahm [qualified Brahm].'

Dr Swan explained that Maharishi's Apaurusheya Bhashya is the sequential elaboration of Natural Law from its source in Unity, represented by A, the first letter of Rk Veda; and within that Totality—infinity—is the point value of infinity, represented by K. From this the whole Veda comes out, in the first Richa [verse] composed of 24 syllables and 24 gaps [between the syllables]; the 24 are organized in three groups or Padas of eight, which are then elaborated in the next eight Richas with 192 syllables and gaps.

'This structure of Natural Law, which is the uncreated commentary of Veda, brought to light by Maharishi, has been seen in many different aspects or parts of life,' Dr Swan said.

He showed charts of the work of Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam in which Maharishi's Apaurusheya Bhashya is reflected in human physiology, molecular biology, genetics, and embryology, adding that 'the same structure of Natural Law expressed in the first Mandal of Rk Veda has been seen in many different aspects of scientific enquiry.'

* Apaurusheya Bhashya: Rk Veda is said to be nitya, eternal, and apaurusheya, uncreated. Maharishi explains that the sequential unfoldment of Rk Veda is its own uncreated, or unmanifest, commentary on itself, rather than that of an individual making an 'external' commentary on Rk Veda.
