The National Leader and Founder of Invincibility for Algeria, in North Africa, Dr Atmane Kouider, recently reported on a special project in that nation—the manufacture and distribution of pure essential oils. This project was started five years ago under the inspiration of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and it has blossomed into a beautiful and successful undertaking.

In the infant stages of the project, the principal organizers had no knowledge of essential oils, but they started patiently to learn, resulting in a line of successful aroma products manufactured in their own state-of-the-art distillation laboratory.

They began distilling several herbs, in the process becoming fully acquainted with the herbs and flowers, and developing some aromatherapy products that were popular in the local market. Each item received formal authorization after going through laboratory testing.

The crops are radiantly healthy, grown organically without any chemicals or pesticides, or harvested in the wild. Much care goes into each detail of their cultivation. Whenever an herb or flower is harvested in the wild, it is done in a way that causes no harm to the plant and that encourages regeneration.

Last December another dimension of the project began—a processing and bottling factory that will produce other products, including a large variety of natural cosmetics, using new professional-quality distillation equipment. This new phase began on a special Muhurta (an auspicious time determined by Maharishi Vedic Astrology).

Dr Atmane and his team are now importing over 100 different oils from all over the world to process at this high-quality manufacturing centre in Algeria. Only the finest quality organic products will be created, he said. The proceeds will support Maharishi Vedic Pandits in India, doing performances for world peace. Therefore this enterprise is not only bringing health, but will also bring peace to the world, by supporting the special Mahayagyas performed specifically for this purpose.

The National Leader expressed his great respect for several people who have been vital in the development of this successful project: the Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Bevan Morris; the Finance Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Benjamin Feldman; Malte Hozzel, a teacher of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and expert in oils and aromatic herbs; Raja John Konhaus, Raja of California, USA, who has been involved in obtaining the organic certification; and Branko Cicic, another principal developer, who is now starting his own production facility in Serbia.

Dr Atmane also expressed deepest gratitude to Maharishi and to Maharaja Nader Raam (the first sovereign ruler of the Global Country of World Peace), for inspiring everyone to participate in this endeavour.

He said that this project has unlimited potential for expansion, and encouraged others to establish similar distillation units all over the world—to create economic self-sufficiency and support world peace, and thus help fulfil Maharishi's six-point programme to create a healthy, happy, prosperous society, and a peaceful world.
