Australia is pleased to announce the establishment of one area in Maharishi's six-point programme to create a healthy, happy, and peaceful world—Vedic Organic Agriculture.
On the remote coastal bushlands of South Australia, Maharishi Honey is being organically grown and certified. The apiary there is situated on 1300 acres of coastal land and has around 70 beehives at present.
Over 3000 red flowering eucalyptus trees on the property can supply large amounts of both nectar and pollen, and many are ready to start flowering very soon.
Several hundred cream flowering eucalyptus trees on the property also provide excellent pollen and nectar, and many are already ablaze with flowers, attracting myriads of bees.
In addition, there is an enormous amount of native vegetation, and taken altogether, there is a sufficient variety of flowers coming into bloom at different times to support a carrying capacity of over 1000 hives, all full of bees, all producing copious amounts of Maharishi Honey—Vedic Organic Honey.
There has been a growing appreciation in the world of the healing properties of honey, and the antibacterial and antioxidant properties of Maharishi Honey have been found to be even stronger than another leading brand known for its healing quality. Maharishi Honey is not exposed to heat and the greatest care is taken at every stage of production to ensure the ideal conditions for preserving its exceptional quality.
