The article describes recent talks to students in Illinois and California by Dr Fred Travis, Maharishi University of Management faculty neuroscientist.
Dr Travis spoke to students, faculty, and administrators at Joliet Junior College in Illinois. He also recently traveled to California to speak to students in a Quiet Time program funded by the David Lynch Foundation. He gave 15 presentations to various classes, explaining how we learn, how the brain develops, how stress affects the brain, and how the Transcendental Meditation technique affects the brain.
