The article features Sultan Salah, a student at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. Several years ago Sultan was looking for a deeper experience in higher education. He became interested in meditation and discovered MUM on the Internet. He enrolled in the fall of 2008 and is majoring in Physiology and Health as well as Maharishi Vedic Science.
While taking the Maharishi Self-Pulse Reading course Sultan developed a deep interest in Maharishi Ayurveda natural health care. In the summer of 2010, he did an internship at The Raj, a renowned Maharishi Ayurveda health spa, located in neighboring Maharishi Vedic City.
''What I appreciate most about MUM,'' he says, ''is the opportunity to study and explore the inner, subjective field of life as well as the many outer, objective fields of life.''
