Dr Alarik Arenander, a scientist and brain researcher, recently described more about the successful course, 'The Individual is Cosmic', that he and his wife, Dr Cynthia Arenander, created.

The course is structured around an electronic model of the Vedic physiology, a model that illustrates the discovery by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, honoured by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, of the unique correlation between the human physiology and the Total Knowledge contained in the ancient Vedic literature.

The course is made up of six lessons and each lesson contains six components.

'In each lesson there is a viewing of the display,' Dr Arenander explained. 'It's a beautiful model of the Vedic physiology, people just love watching it.' Then knowledge about the display is presented, which comes from a lecture by Maharishi.

Maharishi's lecture beautifully presents 'how we want to put Atma (the silent, infinite field of pure consciousness, the Self, the basis of the physiology) to practice in daily life—how we want to follow the Vedic tradition of knowledge by enlivening all the different aspects of our physiology.'

The course is structured with the aim of enlivening health in attendees' physiologies, Dr Arenander explained.

'The course has intellectual knowledge and the model which you watch . . . . so between watching the display and hearing the intellectual discourse about the content and significance of the display, that combination of direct experience with intellectual understanding—those two steps of evolution create quite a platform for Maharishi's Vedic Science and technologies to enliven people's health and their growth to enlightenment.'

So far, the course has been an unqualified success, he said, with about 150 people in attendance during each of the eight times it has been offered.

'It's so exciting to people that a number have taken it multiple times. In fact, they keep saying the more times they take it, the better their experience is.' Some of those enrolling in the next course may have taken it seven times before, he said, and this will be their eighth course. Each course draws 'a mix of new people and those who have taken it over and over again'.

Dr Arenander concluded, 'You just can't get tired of it; the knowledge is just so beautiful that Maharishi brought out.'
