Special programmes in education, architecture, and music have been offered this year in France.
Educators have had the opportunity to learn about Consciousness-Based Education through conference calls, mailings, and presentations.
The response has been very positive, especially from individual meetings, a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in France said, adding that the David Lynch Foundation has offered support for students to learn Transcendental Meditation and enjoy its many scientifically documented benefits in education.
This summer, for the first time, a course in Gandharva Veda music was offered in France. The course was taught by a French woman who is an expert in this field. In addition to the workshop, she also gave a beautiful concert.
Another course in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda was also offered. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda is Vedic architecture in accord with Natural Law, also known as Maharishi Vastu.
Practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme who attended in-residence courses had the opportunity to enjoy course materials recently translated into French.
