The article features two college students—Alex Cequea, from Venezuela, and Amine Kouider, from Algeria—who describe how the Transcendental Meditation Programme has increased their happiness and enjoyment of learning.
Alex says that after learning Transcendental Meditation, his thinking became clearer and he became much more efficient in accomplishing his schoolwork. 'Everything you do is more enhanced, and so practising TM and Yogic Flying (an advanced programme of the TM Technique) really brings out every aspect of life and makes it richer.'
Amine, who has practised Transcendental Meditation since he was 10 years old, also attributes his happiness and love of learning to the technique. Growing up in Algeria, he says, 'going to school was a wonderful thing for me. . . . I was enjoying learning!' Now at university, 'I'm just happy. I love life! TM brings that, totally.'
