A recent Consciousness-Based Education tour inspired great interest among students, teachers, and parents throughout Turkey. The tour also drew media attention.
Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, met with the director of a group of schools—comprising thousands of students across Turkey. Future meetings are planned, and a potential programme in these schools could be a great step forward for the creation of coherence and invincibility in the nation.
Students and professors at a private university heard Dr Deans' presentation on Consciousness-Based Education and 'the response was absolutely wonderful,' he said. They were 'keen to learn Transcendental Meditation' and implement Consciousness-Based Education at their school.
Parents, teachers, and students at a community school in Turkey were also very enthusiastic about the programme. They not only want the students to enjoy the many benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, but also want to create groups practising the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, to contribute to peace and harmony in their nation.
A newspaper interview provided Dr Deans the opportunity to answer many insightful questions about Consciousness-Based Education.
In every visit to Turkey, he sees 'great progress, more and more interest, more and more people learning Transcendental Meditation, more and more positive articles in the newspapers,' Dr Deans commented.
