A Consciousness-Based Education project was implemented in a school in Fiji during the past year, with about 300 students learning the Transcendental Meditation Technique.
On the basis of the good results of the project, education officials several months ago gave approval to expand it to ten schools, said Dr Michael Dillbeck, Administrator for Fiji of the programmes offered by the Global Country of World Peace. Since then nine more schools have signed letters of intent to implement the programme.
The project has been progressing successfully under the leadership of Dr Hassan Ali, National Director of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Fiji, and with the great work of Dr Alain and Dr Marie Courvoisier, Teachers of Transcendental Meditation from France.
There is also a good possibility to offer the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, in these schools as well, Dr Dillbeck said. This will enable the establishment of groups of Yogic Flyers large enough to create a sustained influence of coherence and harmony in collective consciousness—not only for Fiji, but also for surrounding island nations.
Support is being gathered to move ahead on this initiative to secure a national invincibility group for Fiji as soon as possible this year.
