In Latin America, programmes are coming to fruition in several countries to create an invincible level of permanent peace and progress for the whole population.
Guatemala now has enough people practising Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, together to create coherence in the collective consciousness of the nation. At a school for indigenous Mayan people, students are enjoying increasingly deeper experiences in their practice of these technologies of consciousness——the basis for creating national invincibility.
A new group of Yogic Flyers has been established by the city government of Florencio Varela, Argentina, where the mayor practises Transcendental Meditation. This will serve as a model for other cities for how to incorporate Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes into government initiatives, commented a leader of the Global Country of World Peace for Latin America on 22 February.
In other areas, initiatives are moving ahead to establish Consciousness-Based Education at the university level and to create a new, large Vedic organic agriculture project.
In Suriname, plans are under development to create a Maharishi Vedic University, inspired by the large population in the country from India.
A Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture project has been launched in a Caribbean country, by a new institute in collaboration with the government. This initiative has the potential to produce hundreds of thousands of tons of healthy, life-supporting produce in urban agriculture.
