Several international experts in Consciousness-Based Education travelled to India to conduct seminars for educators this past November.
They taught four five-day seminars, said Dr Girish Varma, Director-General of the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India, and National Director of the Global Country of World Peace in that nation.*
Over 250 principals and senior teachers from all 148 Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools attended, he said, speaking during the global 12 January celebrations. Advanced courses were offered to those educators who had attended previously.
Many of these educators have 20 years of experience with Consciousness-Based Education, Dr Varma commented, and they had the opportunity to share their thoughts and expertise as well.
Two Administrators of the Global Country who are long-time Consciousness-Based Education experts also spent one full day with the educators.
That day 'was a heavenly day for our principals, teachers, our national board of directors, regional directors—and of course for me to spend a day in the light of pure knowledge,' Dr Varma said.
It was a joy to sit with these great exponents of the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, he said.
*Dr Varma is also Chairman of the 148 Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, and President of Maharishi Institutes of Management and Information Technology, in India.
