When she learned of the wide-ranging benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in the field of education, the director of a school in Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to offer the programme to the teachers and students at her school.
Dr Ashley Deans,* Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, along with teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme from Serbia, helped start a programme at the school, and it will now serve as an example for future Consciousness-Based Education initiatives in the country.
Practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying in Bosnia and Herzegovina also gave their support for six national Yagyas** to be performed, which created a powerful influence of coherence and harmony for the nation.
* Dr Deans is also Executive Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
** Yagyas are ancient precise performances by specially trained Maharishi Vedic Pandits of India, which create specific life-supporting influences from the field of pure consciousness, the field of total Natural Law.
