The article features an Australian student,, Josh Paling, who recently graduated from Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
Josh was Valedictorian for his graduating class. In his address at graduation, he said, 'What I feel is so great about graduating from Maharishi University of Management in particular is that although our Consciousness-Based Education may have started here three years ago, it doesn't end when we walk across the stage today. The greatest gift we have been given here isn't the intellectual knowledge of our courses. It's the techniques that we'll use for the rest of our lives.
Josh was referring to the Transcendental Meditation and advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, which students practise together daily in the MUM Golden Domes, to develop their consciousness, improve their health, and create an influence of coherence and harmony in national consciousness.
'It's the gift of self-sufficiency and the development of our own consciousness,' Josh said.
