The article features three alumni of the former master's degree programme in Professional Writing at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, who have recently published books on entrepreneurship and children's health, and a book of poetry.
Eva Norlyk Smith, who also earned a Ph.D. in psychology from MUM, wrote Elements of Entrepreneurial Success: The Role of Core Competencies, Inner Development, and Spirituality in Entrepreneurship, which includes interviews with 21 entrepreneurs who practice the Transcendental Meditation Technique.
Alumna Linda Egenes coauthored a book on Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care for children. Super Healthy Kids: A Parent's Guide to Maharishi Ayurveda, published by MUM Press, offers a mind-body integrative approach, focusing on prevention and including recommendations for increasing immunity, eliminating stress with Transcendental Meditation, and healthy eating habits.
A book of poetry, Timeless Tidings of Love, by Okachi Kpalukwu, an alumnus from Nigeria, was published by Strategic Book Group.
