Several hundred students to learn Transcendental Meditation at school in Turkey

Several hundred students will soon have the opportunity to learn the Transcendental Meditation Programme at a school in Turkey.

The school is one of many inspired by a recent Consciousness-Based Education tour to offer the programme and its wide-ranging benefits. Dr Ashley Deans,* Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education, spoke recently about the tremendous success of his tour, which included Turkey.

Dr Deans and Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Turkey for the Global Country of World Peace, had given a talk in the same location the previous year and had received a very warm welcome.

Almost the entire town had attended that presentation. 'It was standing room only and they all listened very attentively', Dr Deans said.**

The feeling after the talk was very positive, and organizers had presented Dr Deans with a plaque. Although interest was high, the programme was delayed in starting.

This year, Dr Deans and Raja Paul met with one of the school's authorities who had not been at the original meeting.

Initially the official expressed some reservations, but after hearing the whole presentation, 'he was smiling,' and said he wanted to implement the programme, Dr Deans said.

Dr Deans and Raja Paul also met with the owner of the school, who agreed that the programme should be introduced.
