Maharishi University of Management Achievements, USA Translate This Article
11 February 2010
The Excellence in Action page of Global Good News is featuring this article with colourful photos.
Please click on the following link to read more about 'President of the Maharishi University of Management Global Student Council'. The article features Baruti KMT (pronounced Kemet), a PhD student in Maharishi Vedic Science from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who serves as president of the Global Student Council (GSC), a student-led governing body at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
Baruti is excited to work with the Council to assist the university in sharing the benefits of Consciousness-Based Education with the world. On completing his PhD, Baruti plans to become a professor of Maharishi Vedic Science and a Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
'It wasn't until I attended a David Lynch Weekend and learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique that I had a very different and profound meditative experience,' said Baruti. 'Discovering Maharishi Vedic Science not only provided the intellectual understanding of my pre and post TM experiences, but also allowed for continued direct experience with the underlying wholeness of life—the transcendent.' With assistance from the David Lynch Foundation, Baruti also learned the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme.
