Please click on the following link to read more about 'Maharishi School students win state robotics competition'. The article features students at Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
A team of six students, led by team captain Sam Arsanjani, recently won the Iowa robotics championship, competing against 17 other teams from across Iowa, including three out-of-state teams from Illinois and Los Angeles. The team will now be getting ready for the 2010 World Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, in April.
The competition is part of a nationwide programme to encourage student team-building skills, entrepreneurship, and 'gracious professionalism'.
Maharishi School students regularly excel in competitions in many fields, attributing their great success to the Consciousness-Based Education system at the basis of all the school's programmes.
