Graduates of the first Consciousness-Based Education Leaders' Course held in France are highly motivated to offer ideal education throughout the nation.
Fifteen participants came from all parts of France to attend the course, held in October near the Brahmasthan—geographical centre—of the nation.
Reporting on the event,* the National Director of Education for the Global Country of World Peace in France commented on the competence of the graduates. Many have worked on previous initiatives, and it was delightful to be all together for the course, he said. They are great Consciousness-Based Education leaders, he said, working together with tremendous harmony and commitment.
The course was designed by Dr Susie Dillbeck, President of the International Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education, who also gave several lectures. At the end of the course, one participant commented that Dr Dillbeck is the 'ideal teacher' described in the conference material.
'We definitely plan to offer this course again as soon as possible,' the National Director of Education said.
He was also happy to report that the entire course has been translated into French, so that other French-speaking countries can easily enjoy it as well.
Graduates of the course are organizing an education conference to be held this January. Leaders of approximately 1,000 schools will be invited to come and learn about the profound knowledge of Consciousness-Based Education, which offers a simple solution to the diverse problems facing education today in France.
Educational leaders can learn more about Consciousness-Based Education on a newly designed website, which is featured on the invitations, the National Director added.
Presentations to educational leaders, teachers, and students will soon be enhanced by the addition of an EEG machine. This will allow audiences to see first-hand increased integration of brain functioning through the practise the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
