Rehabilitation benefits of Transcendental Meditation to be presented; new Maharishi schools planned

Multiple new developments are underway in Latin America involving the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for education and rehabilition, especially relating to the work of Father Gabriel Mejia in his centres for juvenile offenders and other troubled youth.
Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, summarized this news on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat.*
At an upcoming conference in Cordoba, Argentina, Father Gabriel and Dr Germán Martina, National Director of Argentina for the Global Country of World Peace, will be presenting on the benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in rehabilitation and prevention of violence, especially among youth. People from throughout the continent will be gathered at the conference, including 1,500 experts in the field of rehabilitation and crime prevention.
In addition, three Maharishi Invincibility Schools are soon to be established near three of Father Gabriel's rehabilitation centres, including one in Colombia. 'In this way, we can focus simultaneously on the projects of Father Gabriel and on running these Consciousness-Based Education institutions,' commented Raja Luis. He also explained that the juvenile offenders at Father Gabriel's centres will benefit from the geographic consolidation of these education and rehabilitation programmes, even though they will not be attending the schools.
