Two Netherlands newspapers feature Maharishi's programmes: Research on Transcendental Meditation

Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Invincible Netherlands for the Global Country of World Peace, recently reported that in addition to a recent article about Maharishi Vedic Architecture, a beautiful article featuring research on Transcendental Meditation recently came out in a national newspaper in Holland.

Continuing his presentation about the article on the Maharishi Global Family Chat on 28 November, he said that the article referred to research showing activation of various parts of the brain through meditation. Meditation creates inner balance, the article said.

Highlighted in the article was research on practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Technique, Dr Gelderloos said.

Dr Gelderloos commented that the timing of the article was ideal. The Global Country of World Peace recently acquired a private school in Holland, and the former owner of the school had just explained to his colleagues his reasons for selling the school: he was impressed with all the research on Transcendental Meditation and Consciousness-Based Education, and also with the experiences of students, teachers, and parents at Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. He felt that this was the best next step for his school.

The article came out just after the former owner had explained his decision to his colleagues, and he received many congratulations from them. His colleagues said that they felt this programme was the future of education.

Dr Gelderloos reported that in addition to the newly acquired school with 100 students, Consciousness-Based Education is also being presented to other schools in the nation. There has been a much more profound understanding and general acceptance of Maharishi's programmes throughout the nation recently, indicating a high level of invincibility, Dr Gelderloos concluded.
