For those who may have missed the live webcast of the National Summit on Student Health and Education, which was held on 16 October in New York City, replays of the one-day conference are now available online at stressfreesummit.org.

The National Summit was entitled 'Quiet Time in the Classroom', and highlighted a highly effective programme for reducing classroom stress and teacher burnout and improving academic achievement—the 'Transcendental Meditation/Quiet-Time Program' in education. Speakers included filmmaker David Lynch, founder of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace; renowned quantum physicist Dr John Hagelin; and entrepreneur and philanthropist Russell Simmons, as well as principals of schools where the Quiet Time Program has been implemented.

More than 350 school representatives attended.
