Continuing their presentation on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Alarik Arenander reported on presentations he and Dr Cynthia Arenander have made during the first 30 days of their six-week tour of northern India.

Dr Alarik showed beautiful slides of the very large lecture hall and Maharishi Vedic Pandits at Maharishi Ashram in Allahabad, where he and Dr Cynthia gave a presentation to a group of Vedic Pandits with Hindi translation.

The next day the Vedic Pandits responded to their administrators that they 'were so delighted to hear this presentation on Maharishi's knowledge.' They have been practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme twice a day, and performing the Vedic Yagya Programme designed by Maharishi, and they enjoyed gaining this intellectual understanding from the perspective of modern science and brain wave research.

Dr Cynthia gave an overview of the presentations they have been giving during their tour. So far they have visited Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, and Allahabad, and have given at least two or three presentations a day for thirty days. 'What is really phenomenal, is that at each presentation we think, ''I'll never forget that presentation; that was the most incredible presentation,'' ' Dr Cynthia said.

'Sometimes the principal of a school would speak as if giving an introductory lecture on Transcendental Meditation; or during a press conference the main director of the Institute would stand up and give a presentation about Maharishi's knowledge and point to the EEG and say, ''You cant find this kind of brain orderliness in any other meditation or stress management.'' Each event gets better and better and more successful,' Dr Cynthia said.

Dr Alarik then gave details of their activities in the last week in Allahabad: 13 press articles, mostly in Hindi with photos, resulted from a press conference; live brain wave demonstrations (during Transcendental Meditation practice) were given in two Maharishi Vidya Mandirs; an all-day seminar to the Centre for Behavioural and Cognitive Science; and a presentation to a business administration research institute, which offers the first academic MBA programme in all of India.

They also spoke to a large group of faculty and students at another college, which is part of the University of Allahabad system, including another live brain wave demonstration. They have done live demonstrations at every presentation, 'which was always the icing on the cake', said Dr Alarik.

They spoke at two scientific institutes, where again there were very large audiences and a very positive response. Twelve members of the press attended a press conference, and the leader of the second institute translated for the Arenanders and then gave a talk himself to the press about Transcendental Meditation, the Unified Field, the brain, and consciousness. The Arenanders spoke to a packed room at the National Academy of Sciences; and to a hospital, where the owner expects to offer Transcendental Meditation to all the staff and to patients.

They talked to 500 Maharishi Vidya Mandir students, their parents, and teachers at Maharishi Ashram in Allahabad; later they gave a special workshop for biology teachers from all over India. All the other speakers' opening and closing remarks at this presentation 'were completely supportive of Maharishi's knowledge and that students and everyone should use it right away,' Dr Alarik said.

They also gave a joint meeting with seven Rotary clubs, which are primarily focussed on education and developing ethical and moral values in business and government administration. Dr Alarik gave a lecture on 'The Rotarian brain: How to bring fulfilment to India, business, and India's leadership in the world'.

In a few days they will be giving a presentation to 900 doctors and will travel to Delhi, Hyderabad, and other cities.
