Speaking 3 August 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Invincible Netherlands for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on new developments in the expansion of Consciousness-Based Education in the Netherlands.
'Maharishi has emphasized again and again that schools are the key to securing invincibility for Holland,' began Dr Gelderloos. Out of the 150 students currently enrolled in Maharishi Schools in Holland, however, most are too young to be practising Yogic Flying—the means for creating and sustaining invincibility.
Dr Gelderloos has therefore been investigating into private schools throughout the Netherlands, aiming to spread interest in Consciousness-Based Education, and ultimately raise the number of student Yogic Flyers in the nation. He described promising results from this initiative, including a meeting with the principal and founder of a small private school, an individual of great 'radiance, simplicity, and authenticity', who responded very positively to scientific research on the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying.
Dr Gelderloos is looking ahead to being able to implement Consciousness-Based Education in these kinds of schools, and to inspiring their great leaders to help develop the programmes and draw more students to enroll and participate, thus ensuring the programmes' success and the invincibility of the nation.
