Dr Stijn Vandenbosch, National Leader and Founder of Invincibility for the Global Country of World Peace in Belgium, recently described current activities designed to structure invincibility for his nation, including the inauguration of Invincible Belgium University.

Dr Vandenbosch thanked Dr David Lynch, Founder of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and Workd Peace, and other VIP guests who came to take part in the inauguration. At one point in the festivities they were connected to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, speaking from Meru, Holland, who said, 'Today is the first day the touch of Heaven can be felt on earth,' and that this success will lead to more success.

'We want to move ahead immediately,' Dr Vandenbosch said, 'enrolling students and starting classes on 12 January 2008, for students of all ages who will receive this priceless knowledge and experience of enlightenment as they help create invincibility for Belgium.'

Even as plans are being made for financing and building the new university, existing buildings are being secured for immediate use, a website is being put into place, and advertisements are being created. A very positive article entitled 'David Lynch makes Belgium Invincible' appeared in the country's two largest newspapers with pictures of the inaugural ceremonies. It reported that Dr Lynch said he had been practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation (TM) Technique for 34 years, and that it has given him great happiness to share this knowledge. Also, a 30-minute interview on the principles of Unified Field-Based Education was aired over the national radio station—the first time that station has reported anything about Transcendental Meditation.

Dr Vandenbosch said that Dr Alarik Arenander, director of the Brain Research Institute at Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa, USA, will be in Belgium on 8 November, for a press conference to show increased brain wave coherence during the practice of Transcendental Meditation. He will be using 'beautiful graphics that show the change very clearly'. The chief editor of the largest educational journal in Belgium, and other special journalists have been invited to this special conference.

Local leaders of the Global Country of World Peace are working to present to senior government officials the knowledge of how Maharishi's programmes can be implemented to bring fulfilment to the nation's health care, education, and other institutions. Dr Vandenbosch closed with the news that they planned to lay other foundation stones for new buildings, and with warm praise and thanks to the local practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Technique, Yogic Flyers, and Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Technique who have been contributing greatly to these achievements.
