Austin Ayer, Valedictorian and multiple award recipient of the Maharishi University of Management class of 2007, gave a profound message to his fellow graduates and the faculty and guests assembled at the 2007 commencement ceremony held in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
Dr Bevan Morris, president of M.U.M. and Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, said that Austin spoke on the highest level of Maharishi Vedic Science, which 'he has absorbed so deeply in his life'.
Dr Morris explained that Austin developed a notable proficiency in Sanskrit during his studies, as well demonstrated perfect attendance in the Yogic Flying aspect of the students' daily routine. Austin has culminated his studies by earning course credit as a member of the Purusha programme, a coherence-creating group dedicated to the development of consciousness, of which he is currently a member.
In his memorable speech, Austin advised his colleagues to 'always remember your source in Pure Consciousness.' Drawing upon a beautiful expression of knowledge emphasized by Maharishi, Austin imparted a deeply meaningful message: 'If you can focus on one task in your lives, focus on knowing that by which everything is known.'
As an example of Austin's outstanding leadership potential, Dr Morris recalled that the night before commencement, during the awards ceremony, Maharishi announced that he planned to train Austin as a Raja (Administrator) of the Global Country of World Peace.
