During a recent global celebration of the Global Country of World Peace, Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of England, provided an inspiring overview of the curriculum of Maharishi Vedic University (MVU). Maharishi Vedic University, Raja Peter explained, delivers Total Knowledge to every individual and Invincibility to every nation; it is the vehicle to create ideal citizens and permanent coherence-creating groups in every country.

The overview of the curriculum of Maharishi Vedic University that Raja Peter presented will constitute the first lesson of every course that students take at Maharishi Vedic University. Every discipline will be studied in the light of Total Knowledge, which means wholeness, totality—Veda.

The Veda, Raja Peter explained, starts with the syllable: 'A' (pronounced as in 'spa'). The entire Veda is embodied in that first syllable: 'A'. All knowledge, all possible disciplines indeed, are found in that one sound. All areas of life, all the 12 faculties of Maharishi Vedic University, all converge in the single sound: 'A'. This, Raja Peter referred to as a process of synthesis of all disciplines into the single sound 'A'.

The complementary process to synthesis in gaining Total Knowledge is analysis. Analysis of 'A' reveals the process of sequential emergence of the entire Veda, the human physiology, the ever-expanding universe, and ultimately the whole field of Brahm—the Totality—where diversity is again unified in one grand wholeness. 'So we synthesize everything in 'A',' Raja Peter said, 'and then we analyse 'A' and find everything within 'A'.'

Veda is the science and technology of Total Natural Law, the Constitution of the Universe. Veda is Total Knowledge in theory and in practice. Total Knowledge is total science; but it is also total technology—it is the total science and technology of the subject.

Maharishi Vedic University is the university of total science and total technology for each discipline. That science and technology, fortunately for us, Raja Peter pointed out, is described in its completeness in the texts of the Vedic Literature. The entire curriculum has been condensed into one wall chart to which Raja Peter referred entitled: 'Maharishi Vedic University for Total Knowledge: Curriculum at a Glance'. The 12 faculties of the University are arranged across the top of the chart.

A definition is provided on the chart for the knowledge offered by each faculty at Maharishi Vedic University. This knowledge embraces all the traditional content of that discipline, but on the foundation of the field of Total Knowledge, and as an expression of Total Knowledge. Raja Peter took each faculty in turn and explained the definition of the knowledge it offers.
