Dr Bevan Morris on Education for Enlightenment - Part III

Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, and President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Maharishi University of Management in Iowa, USA, continued his presentation to the global Press Conference last week on Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's knowledge and programmes of Education for Enlightenment—Consciousness-Based Education, the Total Knowledge-based approach which promotes development of total brain functioning .

Dr Morris spoke of the discovery by Maharaja Nader Raam, first sovereign ruler of the Global Country of World Peace and pre-eminent neuro-scientist, who has revealed that the human physiology is actually made out of the Unified Field of nature's intelligence. Therefore 'every human being is made of consciousness, the physiology is made of consciousness, and the physiology is a cosmic phenomenon.' It has cosmic potentiality designed into it.

This fundamental discovery changes everything about our understanding of human capability that can be unfolded, through proper education, through Consciousness-Based Education, Dr Morris said. Now, as it was said in the ancient Vedic times, Apakal vidya sab pai—'All knowledge gained in a short time.' Until now, to gain all knowledge would seem an impossible task. How could one ever begin to grasp what is in 12 million books? But now Total Knowledge can be captured in a short time by capturing the field which is the origin of all fields of knowledge, the Unified Field.

Now when students come to class, Dr Morris explained, they see the Total Knowledge chart, they learn Transcendental Meditation, they begin to transcend. From the very first day of their education they begin to capture Total Knowledge. 'Now all of that mysterious feeling of being lost in a maze of fragmented knowledge will end. There will be no fear of examinations anymore, no more wasteful memorization. Just effortless understanding of all fields of knowledge, on the basis of the experience of Total Knowledge.'

Dr Morris emphasized the power of this type of education. Every school in the world can now create invincible defence for their country. Every school, just by the children in the school practising Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques, including the most powerful of all techniques, called Yogic Flying. They can create not only an awakening of total brain potential for themselves, and experience the Unified Field for themselves—but they can thrill that unified basis of the whole universe, and the unified basis of their whole town, and their nation, and their world. The direct experience of the Unified Field by a group of 300-400 students in a Maharishi Invincibility School is enough for any smaller nation in the world (larger nations may need 1,000-2,000).

In Invincibility Schools it will be possible to create such a powerful radiation of peace and harmony in the environment, that the whole nation will be impenetrable to any negativity coming from either outside or inside. The teenagers of the nation can secure invincible defence of their nation—without even knowing they are doing it—as a blissful side effect of the educational programme of their school through their group practice of these powerful techniques of consciousness, day by day. The rise of Invincibility Schools in countries all over the world heralds a new dawn of the human race, Dr Morris said.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is telling the whole world that 2,000 years of suffering is enough. Now a golden age based on Consciousness-Based Education is dawning. Every student in every country, rising in higher states of consciousness, will live completely without mistakes, problems, and suffering because they live in accord with all the laws of nature, and mobilize all the intelligence of creation to support them. This is the Maharishi Effect.

Maharishi Central University in Kansas, USA, is a perfect example of this phenomenon on the tertiary level. A new university is being constructed at the centre point of the US, or Brahmasthan as it is known in the tradition of Vedic Architecture—the most powerful spot in the whole nation. Projected to cater for 40,000 students altogether, all following this Unified Field-based, Total Knowledge-based approach to education, this new university will be creating a global influence. These 40,000 students practising these powerful techniques is more than enough to transform the entire world consciousness in a single stroke, from this one point in the centre of this scientific nation of the US.

Dr Morris explained that correspondingly, at the Brahmasthan of India, 16,000 young Vedic Pandits will be practising these Consciousness-Based educational programmes, as well as advanced Vedic technologies to prevent dangers befalling each of the 192 countries of the world. 'The whole world is going to be just completely golden, heavenly, peaceful', he said, 'permanent peace on earth and uniting of the whole world family as one Global Country of World Peace—just on the basis of the proper and complete education of the youth everywhere.'

Dr Bevan Morris congratulated Dr John Hagelin, Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace and Executive Director of the International Center for Invincible Defense, based in New York; Dr David Lynch, who has been a great supporter of Consciousness-Based Education and aspires to create the funding for all of these programmes and for a million students to learn Transcendental Meditation; and Dr Girish Varma, who has created a vast network of Consciousness-Based schools and universities in India.

There is no reason to continue damaging the children by giving them fragmented education which only partially develops the brain, and leaves functional holes in the brain. Dr Morris feels that within a decade people will look back on this time and laugh: ' ''You didn't include consciousness in your education system? You didn't develop the total brain of the student?'' People will just be amazed that it was not implemented instantly, when the first scientific results came out.'
