Under the inspiration of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, a new educational institution is being founded in Prague, Czech Republic, based on Maharishi's Consciousness-Based approach to learning—Vedic education based on total knowledge of Natural Law.
The College of Excellence, Management and Invincible Leadership, to be set up initially as a branch of Maharishi University of Management, will have as its Director Jindra Hvezda of Prague.
The leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in the Czech Republic point out that wise people around the world, including those in UNESCO and the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), have already formulated the needs for education for everyone, but until now, no one had the means of achieving them.
In the words of Maharishi, the Founder of the Global Country, 'If the age is to rise to Invincibility, a fundamental value has to be supplied to the field of education: knowledge of pure consciousness and how to experience it.'
The new campus of the College of Excellence, Management, and Invincible Leadership will comprise two buildings: a large one in downtown Prague for 400 students, and a second smaller, newly reconstructed building a little further out.
In addition to their other studies, students will have the opportunity to learn Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying. A group of 400 Yogic flyers is enough to bring Invincibility to the Czech Republic.
Consciousness-Based Education is one of the projects in Maharishi's six-point programme to create a healthy, happy society, and a peaceful world.
