Alum research in physics becomes 'instant classic'
The Review Translate This Article
14 December 2006
Veronique Ziegler, who received a Ph.D. in physics from the University and who is currently a graduate student in physics at the University of Iowa, has authored a paper in Physical Review Letters that colleagues say is destined to become an 'instant classic.'
Dr. Ziegler is currently doing research in subatomic physics at the Stanford Linear Accelerator, and her paper identified the spin of the Omega-minus particle.
Her paper has been well received. One reviewer wrote, 'This paper is an instant classic. It will be studied by future generations of graduate students.'
