10 July 2008
Speaking 4 July 2008 on the Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, reported on the celebration of total Natural Law administering the universe, which was observed by Vedic Pandits in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA.
The celebration included a special Puja, or Vedic performance of gratitude, in the morning, and an elaborate procession in the afternoon.
Several Rajas participated in the ceremony, including Raja Robert Wynne, Mayor of Vedic City, and Raja John Hagelin, world-renowned physicist and Raja of Invincible America. Since Raja Wynne has been appointed Raja of Vedic Pandit City, reported Dr Morris, the Pandits asked him to lead the ceremonial procession.
Members of the community and participants in the Invincible America Assembly were also invited to attend the festivities, which began following the Independence Day picnic hosted at Maharishi University of Management in nearby Fairfield, Iowa.
