On 13 September 2015 Scoop.co.nz (New Zealand) reported: Celebrated talk show host Oprah Winfrey made available to her hundreds of employees a self-development programme that not only brought more productivity but improved the quality of their personal lives as well. Her gift was the Transcendental Meditation (TM) programme. In her words: ''You can't imagine what's happened in the company. Some people who used to have migraines don't anymore. People are sleeping better. People have better relationships. People interact with other people better. It's been fantastic!'' It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of business.
Oprah structured TM sessions into company time at 9:00 in the morning and 4:30 in the afternoon.
For many years scientific researchers have been noting the objective results of TM on health and well-being—including, in the business environment: improvement in relationships with co-workers and supervisors, increased job performance and job satisfaction while the desire to change jobs decreased.
