Tunisia is becoming a hub for the production and distribution of VedAroma products—high quality organic essential oils and blends, with new lines of perfumes, creams, and other products in development. The company, directed by Dr Atmane Kouider, recently welcomed Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, near the end of his 14-country tour of Africa.
On arriving in Tunisia, Dr Morris was greeted at the airport by Dr Kouider, director of the Transcendental Meditation programme, and his son, Amine, who has worked extensively with the David Lynch Foundation television group (DLF.TV).
Dr Kouider, who recently moved from Algeria to Tunisia due to his responsibilities with the VedAroma company, has assumed administrative responsibility for Transcendental Meditation activities in both countries. Amine, a young graduate of Maharishi University of Management in the USA, is helping his father and starting to take on more responsibility in the organization,.
In Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, Dr Morris held a day-long seminar attended by people from both Tunisia and Algeria who practise Transcendental Meditation. A substantial number made the long flight from Algeria to Tunisia in order to attend. As part of the seminar the group enjoyed a luncheon organized by the Kouider family.
Tunis remains a remarkable city of exquisite architecture, Dr Morris commented—an interesting blend of ancient traditional styles and modernism. Tunisia is a well-developed country that, in addition to global tourism, grows a variety of crops that support the economy.
Dr Morris paid a visit to Mr Kouider's company. The company, originally established in Algeria, relocated to Tunisia when economic conditions changed and it seemed that Tunisia would be a more favourable place to run the business.
The VedAroma factory, a separate company headquartered in Sus (another city in Tunisia, south of Tunis), sends orders to Dr Kouider to fill. They are working closely with Dr Malte Hozzel, who has extensive experience and knowledge of essential oils. In addition to the VedAroma line they are working to produce another line that they intend to offer in Asia.
The majority of the proceeds from the venture will be used to support groups of Maharishi Vedic Pandits—experts in peace-creating technologies of consciousness brought to light from the Vedic tradition of knowledge by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. This will help fulfil the long-range goal of the VedAroma enterprise, which has facilities in a number of countries, of generating enough annual income to support very large Pandit groups to create permanent peace, prosperity, and good fortune for the world.
Now that there are sufficient supplies of a variety of essential oils in storage at the facility in Tunisia, and the production aspect of the business is running smoothly, Dr Kouider has started working on marketing strategies for the global distribution of the products. The aromas are beautifully packaged in different combinations in lovely engraved silver boxes.
