US: Construction soon to commence on first Vastu development community in Ohio

After six years, Ohio Vedic Homes and Lake O'Springs private resort in Canton, Ohio, USA, is about ready to begin offering lots for purchase.
Ohio Vedic Homes aims to be a health and recreation community built entirely according to Maharishi Vastu architecture, an ancient science of architecture and building in harmony with natural law that promotes occupants' health, happiness, and success.
The property was purchased after plans to just buy one lot fell through, but the beauty of the land and its ideal Vastu characteristics could not be overlooked. These factors led David Kidd, Transcendental Meditation teacher and developer, to buy the entire property, including a 27-acre (11-hectare) lake, and plan a lakefront community according to Maharishi Vastu design.
After six years of negotiating and preparing, include slightly reshaping one shore of the lake so that all lakefront Vastu homes can face perfectly east (one of several important Vastu principles), the lots in Ohio Vedic Homes are just about ready to sell.
Jon Lipman, Vastu architect and director of Fortune-Creating Buildings, who recently visited the site, commented that the land is nearly ready for housing construction to begin. To date, all the regrading has been done, all the roads have gone in, and each lot is equipped with sewer, water, and electricity.
Therefore, within a few weeks, construction can begin on the first Maharishi Vastu community in Ohio.
In addition to the beautiful natural surroundings, Mr Lipman added that the Vastu elements of the property are outstanding. A group of Vastu experts, after visiting the site, pronounced it to be 'one of the two most ideal prospective Vastu locations in the entire United States'.
