The recent visit to Iceland of Dr David Lynch and Raja Tom Stanley, Raja of Iceland for the Global Country of World Peace, along with a Hollywood producer from Iceland, stirred great interest among government leaders and the public in solving the nation's problems at a fundamental level—by creating integration in national consciousness through introducing Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes.
Please see Part I of this article, which reported on the delegation's goal to rescue Iceland from its economic turmoil by introducing Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme.
Commenting on this visit to Iceland, Raja Stanley said that it was highly encouraging. 'Many hundreds of people have signed up indicating their interest in the Transcendental Meditation Programme. We look forward to delivering our promise of giving the Icelandic people a solution to their problems—a solution that is not based on where they traditionally have been looking, such as the economy or other outer aspects of society; but a solution based on going to the root cause and root solution of all the problems in society, by looking to the enlightenment of the individual and the integration of the national consciousness as a whole.'
Raja Stanley said that the entire visit was filmed by a professional film crew, so there will be an opportunity in the future to watch the events that are happening 'at the top of the world'—in the world's northern-most capital.
'The number of Yogic Flyers required to create invincibility for Iceland is very small, Raja Stanley continued. 'Only 58 people are needed. But we are saying 200 people in order to have a large safety factor to ensure invincibility for all time.'
'Some of the people we were addressing own the meeting hall where we were,' he said, 'and they offered the facility free of charge on a permanent basis as a home for the peace-creating group for Iceland.
'This is just one example of the tremendous support we received on all sides from the very intelligent and alert Icelandic people, who are now looking for a solution to their society's problems on a level that is more fundamental than they have ever thought of before,' Raja Stanley concluded.
