Filmmaker David Lynch sets up $500M fund in Fairfield to bring world peace through Transcendental Meditation

On 27 April 2022 Des Moines Register reported: Filmmaker David Lynch announced a plan for world peace that begins in the southeastern Iowa town [of Fairfield]. The director announced a program that would invest about $500 million its first year, in partnership with Global Union of Scientists for Peace in Fairfield. Lynch said in an April 14 release that the Russian invasion of Ukraine spurred this $500 million world peace initiative.
