New steps toward Invincible Defence include initiatives in Ireland and South Korea in the field of education; agriculture in South Africa; and new websites in Italy.
Lt. Colonel Gunter Chassé, Rtd Air Force Officer in the German Air Force and International Deputy Minister of Invincible Defence for the Global Country of World Peace recently discussed the rise of Invincible Defence around the world, including reports from the National Directors of Defence for the Global Country in these nations.*
South Africa Along with other participants in a course on sustainable farming, the National Director of Defence for the Global Country in South Africa had the opportunity to present ideas about ending food shortages in Africa. He discussed with participants from diverse African countries the potential of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's invincibility programmes to create sustainable living. Such programmes include Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture to provide healthy nutritious food and help eliminate poverty worldwide.
South Korea The National Director of the Global Country of World Peace in South Korea reported that a top educational leader will soon publish a book about meditation in education. Inspired by the visit of Dr Ashley Deans, Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education,** he plans to include approximately 15 pages about the success of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
Ireland New publicity campaigns and plans for a new Consciousness-Based Education academy will greatly contribute to the invincibility of Ireland. Focus on creating a Tower of Invincibility for the nation also continues, the National Director of Defence for the Global Country said.
Italy Having just returned from three months participating in the Invincible America Assembly in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, the National Director of Defence for the Global Country in Italy is enthusiastic about creating new websites presenting Maharishi's programmes.
He first created a website about Stress-Free Schools,*** and has now developed another website about Invincible Defence—which includes the approach of promoting invincibility through coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers, and benefits for the military such as stress management and peak performance for soldiers. He is also preparing materials for a website about Maharishi's programmes in the field of business.
* Colonel Chassé's report was featured on the 8 October 2009 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
** Dr Deans is also Executive Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment.
