For the first time, Vedic Experts from India have been offering advanced programmes of Transcendental Meditation in the United Arab Emirates.

The experts have been teaching Advanced Techniques of Transcendental Meditation, the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Refresher Course, and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology. Leaders and members of the Global Country of World Peace also joined in the global celebration of Victory Day on 28 September.

Speaking on the Maharishi Channel recently* Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of the United Arab Emirates for the Global Country of World Peace, described these courses and showed slides of the groups attending.

A Victory Day celebration was held on 28 September in the Emirate of Sharjah, which is adjacent to Dubai. The flag of the Global Country of World Peace was raised that day by the Teacher and local practitioners of Transcendental Meditation.

One of the Vedic Experts commented on the good experiences enjoyed by those learning Transcendental Meditation. He expressed appreciation for the Teachers, who have been giving the courses and knowledge in a very beautiful and proper way.

Raja Peter also praised the dedicated Transcendental Meditation Teachers, who have taught many people in the past year.

He introduced one of the Teachers to give a report on the progress and aspirations for the Transcendental Meditation organization in their country. Mahnaz Imami, from Iran, has now made her home in Dubai. Global Good News will feature her presentation in the coming days.
