Third IamU conference in MERU, Holland: Young leaders across the globe creating a better world

The third conference of IamU ('I am Universal')—an initiative created by youth of the Global Country of World Peace all over the world, to connect, inspire, and celebrate with other like-minded young people the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi—was recently held in MERU, Holland. Young leaders from across the globe spoke about the success of their endeavours to create a better, happier, more peaceful world.

Asher Fergusson, young member of the Maharishi Purusha Programme* and an international administrator of IamU, introduced the conference. He announced that through IamU 'everywhere across the world there are amazing job opportunities, internships, and all kinds of great [initiatives] to be involved with'.

Asher highlighted the IamU page on Facebook^® and invited young people around the world to participate.

Under Asher's leadership, a young marketing team is forming. Positions for people talented in web design, web development, software engineering, etc., are now available, he said.

Austin Ayer, another international IamU administrator and officer, added that wide-ranging job opportunities will soon be posted on an updated website. Currently, anyone interested in these initiatives can email IamU@Maharishi.net.

The conference included talks about Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture in Ukraine, upcoming Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Courses in Bulgaria and Latin America, the Global Mother Divine Organization** and Mother Divine Programme for a new generation in countries around the world, as well as initiatives in Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, and South Africa.
