On 12 January 2009, the Global Country of World Peace celebrated the global inauguration of Maharishi's Second Year of Invincibility—Global Raam Raj. The celebration was held in MERU, Holland, in the presence of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, and the gathering of his Rajas, Raj Rajeshwaris, Ministers, and National Directors from many countries, as well as members of the Global Country of World Peace around the world enjoying the live broadcast via Internet on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3.

As the celebration began, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, said, 'Today, 12 January 2009, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam and Maharishi's global world family are celebrating His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, whose achievements are supreme in the whole world history, and who has opened a bright new destiny for the human race,' and explained that today Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam would inaugurate the new year according to Maharishi's tradition.

Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning, invited the Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of Raam Raj at the Brahma-Sthan (centre) of India, the land of the Veda, and in the Brahma-Sthan of Maharishi's Vastu in MERU, to perform Puja to Guru Dev* and then perform their traditional Vedic recitations in honour of Maharishi—'the reverberations of total Natural Law, the Constitution of the Universe. We're very grateful to the Vedic Pandits,' Dr Feldman said, 'for being the Custodians of the Constitution of the Universe for the whole world, and for giving us the opportunity today to merge with that Totality of Natural Law and celebrate Maharishi's blessings to the world today.'

Following the Vedic Pandits' recitation, as on several of the previous days, the Assembly honoured the supreme achievements of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, one year ago during the 12 January 2008 celebrations. Videotapes were played of the historic events and words of Maharishi in establishing the Brahma-Sthan of India as the Global Capital of Raam Raj on 12 January 2008.

On 12 January 2008 Maharishi inaugurated the Year of Invincibility—Global Raam Raj. In an historic ceremony the Flag of Invincibility of the Global Country of World Peace was raised in over one hundred countries at twelve noon, and the
Maharishi Tower of Invincibility was inaugurated with ground-breaking ceremonies in forty-eight of the most affluent nations, with a commitment to build them in all 192 countries. The grand twelve-story Maharishi Tower of Invincibility will serve as a lighthouse of Invincibility for every nation, and a perpetual memorial to the over fifty years of unprecedented achievements of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in creating the unshakeable foundation for an invincible world.

During the celebration of this holy day in January 2008, Maharishi reflected on the structure of Silent Administration of the Global Country of World Peace, and said:

'Prime Minister, you were explaining to the world the present state of affairs as far as the structure and duty to it to be done. Continue on that point. It's a beautiful point; it's a beautiful point. All values will always continue to prevail. Out of that, the administration sorts out other values** which are not necessary. Prime Minister, explain to them—you have expressed it beautifully what world we are leaving behind.'

In the evening of 12 January 2008, during a grand celebration of bagpipe playing and fireworks in the gardens of MERU, Holland, Maharishi established the Brahma-Sthan, centre of India, as the World Capital of Raam Raj—the silent seat of the administrative power of the Global Country of World Peace. There, 16,000 Vedic Pandits will enliven silence to reign on earth, through their performance of Yoga and Yagya, including Ati Rudra Abhishek.*** Maharishi said,

'From today the world should know that it is the global seat of Raam Raj. . . . In the long millennium history of the world, today was a day when the Capital of Raam Raj was established. Capital of Raam Raj will be maintained through Yagyas and through exhibitions, great exhibitions of knowledge. Exhibitions of knowledge, these are the pieces of knowledge that maintain the environment of the Capital, and the Capital will be in the seat of silence of Rajaraam . . . a place from where the Administration of Brahm will be issued and continue to bless the world all the time. . . . Raam Brahm paramarath rupa. Raam Raj dukh kahu na vyapa.'****
