World Peace Assembly unites Yogic Flyers to promote invincibility in Russia

Speaking recently on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Maxim Shatohin, National Director for the Global Country of World Peace in Russia, reported on a World Peace Assembly of Yogic Flyers, which gathered recently in his country.

With translation help from Dr Wojtek Skalski, Deputy Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Shatohin shared events from the World Peace Assembly (WPA), which was held from 1-11 May, 1,700 kilometres from Moscow in a wooded area near a river. The WPA participants, whose numbers exceeded 100, resided in the same area as the permanent coherence-creating Invincibility Assembly, a group of nearly 200 who have been practising the Yogic Flying technique together for two years.

Both at the beginning and end of the 10-day assembly, the participants listened to conference calls led by Raja Bjarne Landsfeldt, Raja of Invincible Russia for the Global Country of World Peace. 'Raja Bjarne's work has been instrumental in structuring the Global Country of World Peace in Russia,' said Dr Shatohin. 'He has brought our organization to a new level.'

Also during the assembly, on 8 May the participants celebrated Akshaya Tritiya, the auspicious Day of Lasting Achievements in the Vedic Calendar.

The assembly enjoyed the presence of Mr and Mrs Das, Teachers of Advanced Techniques of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, who were attending the assembly. In addition, Dr Wojtek Skalsky gave a presentation on Maharishi Sthapatya-Veda. 'Dr Skalsky laid the foundation for establishing the National Office for Sthapatya-Veda in Russia,' commented Dr Shatohin. 'He offers great support to all architectural projects in Russia for the Global Country of World Peace.'

Dr Shatohin concluded in saying that he hopes Russia will achieve a permanent group of 1,200 Yogic Flyers, the number necessary for national Invincibility, as soon as possible. 'Russia already has a total of 3,000 Yogic Flyers,' he said. 'What we need now is to bring them together to form a larger assembly than what we now have.' Dr Shatohin hopes to achieve this by offering more Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Refresher Courses, as well as purchasing more land to house Invincibility Assembly participants.
