'Peace palace' planned for Springs

On 5 December 2006 Gazette Colorado Springs reported:
A (US)$4.5 million Peace Palace is planned for Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, adjacent to Maharishi Ayurveda Products International, Inc located off Garden of the Gods road.

The 12,000 square foot, two-story, marble Peace Palace will sit on three acres of land.
The Gazette reported that Colorado Springs Peace Palace 'will feature exhibition and lecture halls, offices, residential rooms and a dining hall. Health and wellness classes in the Ayurveda tradition of ancient health-care teachings and practices that originated in India will be offered.'
Approval of $51 million in revenue bonds is expected by the Colorado Health Facilities Authority, which is a non-profit organization that issues bonds for health-related projects for both in and out of state.
The Gazette reported that 'Proceeds from the bonds also will be used to finance an 816-acre organic farm in Goshen, NY'
The Gazette reported that Jennifer Dunn, an independent financial advisor with Ponder & Co in Chicago who is advising the Colorado Authority said that 'the bonds should be issued by the end of this year'.
Dunn was quoted by the Gazette as saying, 'We've done a financial review of the project and model and feel comfortable with it'.
